1. Open a new document in Word and select a certificate template.

  2. To add a form field, go to InsertText Field and click Draw Horizontal Text Field.

  3. Insert a variable. For example, add %NAME% to automatically fill in the learner's first and last name. Then, remove the fill and stroke of the text field.

  4. Add other fields in the same way. Find a list of supported form fields in the article “Adding Variables to Personalize Your Certificate.”

  5. Then, save the certificate in .docx format.

  6. Once the certificate is created, upload it to iSpring Learn.

Perfect! Now, when learners complete the course, they will receive a certificate and see their first and last name, completion date, and other personalization fields that have been added.

Your colleagues can download the original certificate in .docx format in iSpring Learn.
