Preserving Completion Status

If an employee opens an updated content that had been completed and takes it again, the previous result will not be reset. If the course is taken again, the score will remain the same or will be improved if an employee gets more points. iSpring Learn will show the best result of all attempts in the report and in the user portal.

Note:

The status is saved only for standalone content and content created as a part of a course.

When you update subcontent of a presentation like quizzes, simulations, interactions, the presentation status will remain as Completed and the status for the subcontent will be reset.

How to Reset Progress for Standalone Content

The administrator can reset the completion progress so that all employees will be assigned to retake the updated content. This can be helpful if you added new info to the content and want your employees to see it.

Previously, the administrator could only change the status or reset progress for content published as a part of the course. Now you can do it for the standalone content.

Here's how to do it:

  1. Open content and go to the Enrollments section. Select a user.

  2. Click Edit Enrollment.

  3. In the opened sidebar, click on the pen image in the Status field.

  4. Select Reset progress from the menu.

  5. Click Save.

Done! You have reset the status of the content.
