Editing the Supervisor role is only available with the iSpring Learn Business plan.

Enable the catalog in the settings so supervisors can recommend courses and trainings. The system will alert you if the catalog is turned off.


  1. Go to Users > Roles.



  2. Click on the Supervisor role.



  3. In Catalog Content Permissions, mark Can enroll employees in content from the Catalog and click on Save.



    By default, supervisors can only send training requests to administrators for content. If you don't want supervisors to recommend content, select “Can't recommend content from the Catalog.”


    Well done! Now, users with the Supervisor role can assign training without approval.
