The sidebar with the outline will display both the structure of the page and the entire course clearly. You can choose how detailed the outline will be and what items the reader will see when viewing it.
How to add headings to the outline
Highlight the text and select Header from the list, e.g., Header 2.
To add a subheading, select Header 3.
Done! You've added an item to the outline.
How to hide an item in the outline
Mouse over the item on the sidebar and click on ***.
Then, click on Remove from Outline.
Well done! Now the heading is not displayed on the sidebar with the outline.
How to hide the sidebar
Click on <<Hide Sidebar.
To expand the sidebar, click on >>Show Sidebar.
How to hide the contents in the course player
Go to Settings.
Click on Navigation.
Select No Outline.
Next, click on Save.
You can use the Hide Sidebar to have the outline hidden by default when viewing the course.
Done! Now the reader can't see the outline when viewing the course.
