Only the Account Owner and Administrator have access to the settings.

To have the birthdate field appear on the user’s personal information page:

  1. Go to SettingsAdditional Options.



  2. Select User Profile Settings.



  3. Make sure the Birthdate field is enabled.



    Done! Now, when adding users manually, through Excel and API, you can add their birthdate.


    In the user portal, employees only see the day and month of their colleague's birthday. Only the administrator can see the year of birth.

    • New accounts have the Birthdate field enabled by default. In existing accounts, the field can be added manually. To do this, select the Date of birth field type and click Add.



    • The Birthdate field can be required and optional.

    • If you delete this field, all birthday data for all users will be removed from this account. The Birthdays module in the settings and in the org chart will be disabled.
