You can randomize the answers in the Multiple Choice or Multiple Response question categories but have certain answer options locked in the same position. This is useful if one of the choices is something like 'Other' or 'All of the above', which are usually added at the end of the list.
Locking an Answer Choice Position
To lock an answer choice position:
- Click on an answer in the Answer panel.
- Click Anchor Choice in the drop-down menu.
Next to the anchored question, a chain-link icon is displayed in the editor. This means that when the answer choices are shuffled, the anchored question is always in the last place.
Unlocking an Answer Choice Position
To unlock the answer position:
- Select the answer.
- Right-click and choose Remove Anchor from the drop-down menu.
