You can export the text of a course in XLIFF format and import the translated file back into the course. iSpring Suite will automatically replace the previous text with its translation.

To translate your course:

  1. Export the text for translation. Go to the Translation tab and click Export Text.

  2. Specify the source language of the text.

  3. Click Export. The text will be exported in XLIFF format.

  4. Send the file to the translator.

If you translate on your own, you'll need to use a translation service such as Crowdin or Smartcat. Choose a service, register, and translate the text.
  5. Import the file with the translated text into the course. To do this, in the Translation section, click Import Text.

Be sure to save the course in its original language. To do this, create a copy of the course. This is important because the source texts will be replaced.
  6. Select the file and click Import.

Done! You have now translated the course into the desired language.

Text blocks containing the following items cannot be exported automatically:

  • Equations
  • Animated links with sound effects
  • SmartArt Office 2007 graphics
  • SmartArt graphic nested blocks

You will see a detailed error message if some of your texts cannot be exported. Copy these texts from the slides and send them to the translator.
