You can restrict user navigation by disabling the player’s navigation controls:

  • Outline
  • Thumbnails
  • Timeline
  • Previous/Next
  • Replay

To lock controls on one or more slides:

  1. Click the Slide Properties button on the iSpring Presenter toolbar.

  2. Select one or more slides whose controls you would like to lock. To select multiple slides at once, hold CTRL or SHIFT when clicking on desired slides.

  3. Next, click Lock on the toolbar to change the block controls for one or more slides.
The second way to limit navigation over a slide is to click on the Lock column. This method will work if you selected only one slide.

  4. Finally, click Save and Close on the toolbar.

  5. When learners hover over the outline or navigation buttons of a slide with locked controls, they will see a lock icon.

Note:

Even if navigation is locked, users can navigate to another slide on click or automatically. Disable automatic or on-click navigation if you want to restrict user navigation completely.
