To set up notifications for learners and administrators:

  1. Go to the Settings section and open the Additional Options tab.



  2. Then, scroll down to the Extra Options section and click Notifications.



  3. Once on the Notifications page, enable or disable notifications by dragging the toggle button to the right or to the left. To apply changes, click Save

User Notifications

Under the General tab, configure learner alerts. All notifications are enabled by default.

Course and learning path alerts

Learners' answers are accepted or declinedUsers get notified as soon as instructors evaluate their answers.
Courses or learning paths have expiredStudents are notified when time-limited courses and learning paths expire.
A new chapter in the learning path is availableIf you set due dates for chapters within learning paths, the system will notify learners that they have a new chapter to complete.

User management alerts

Users have been added or moved to a new group (organization)If learners get assigned new courses or learning paths because they were moved to another group, the system will update them on the new material.

Other alerts

Learners received new badges or pointsA message is sent when a user receives a new badge or earns points.
Learners received a course completion certificateThe system will automatically send learners their certificates by email.
A course that learners have purchased is now availableIf an admin manually verifies completed payments, the system will automatically notify the customer.

Administrator Notifications

Under the Admin notifications tab, you can control the notifications sent to the administrators.

The number of users in the system has been exceededA notification is sent when a user can't sign in to the system because the number of users allowed by your subscription plan has been exceeded.
