Adding an Instructor to a Course

To assign an instructor to a course:

1. In the Content section, locate the content item and start editing it.
   
   
   
   
2. On the Manage course page, open the Details tab.
   
   
   
   

3. Scroll down to the Author and Instructor section and select a user who will be the instructor. To do this, start entering the first letters of the name, last name, or email of the user you want to assign as an instructor. When the system suggests existing matches, left-click to choose the desired name.
   
   

   Who assigns the instructor	Who can be the instructor
   Account Owner, Administrator	Any user of the account with the role of Administrator, Organization Administrator, or Publisher.
   Organization Administrator, Publisher	Any user of the organization with the role of Administrator, Organization Administrator, or Publisher.

   Only active users can be assigned as instructors.
   
   
   
   

4. Finally, click Save.
