To assign an instructor to a course:

  1. In the Content section, locate the content item and start editing it.



  2. On the Manage course page, open the Details tab.



  3. Scroll down to the Author and Instructor section and select a user who will be the instructor. To do this, start entering the first letters of the name, last name, or email of the user you want to assign as an instructor. When the system suggests existing matches, left-click to choose the desired name.

    Account Owner, AdministratorAny user of the account with the role of Administrator, Organization Administrator, Publisher, or a custom role.
    Organization Administrator, PublisherAny user of the organization with the role of Administrator, Organization Administrator, Publisher, or a custom role.

    Only active users can be assigned as instructors.



  4. Finally, click Save.
