Let's see how to synchronize new user data between BambooHR and iSpring Learn.

  1. To create a user in BambooHR, go to the People section and click on New Employee.



  2. Fill in information about the employee: first name, last name, date of birth, and other data.



  3. Next, enter their email, Department, and Division in the Job Information section and click Save.



  4. Then, go to iSpring Learn > the Services section > BambooHR card, and click on Sync.



    After synchronization, return to the user list. You’ll now see a new user in iSpring Learn.



    ​Done! You’ve synced a new user from BambooHR to iSpring Learn.

    When synchronizing, the user's photo is not transferred.

    You can edit user information in BambooHR. These changes will also sync to iSpring Learn. For example, let's add information about a user’s supervisor.

How to add information about a supervisor

  1. Open the user card in BambooHR > the Job tab > scroll to the Job Information section > click on Edit.



  2. ​Next, in the Reports To field, select the supervisor's name.



  3. Then, return to the sync settings page and refresh the page.

    The supervisor's name will now appear on the employee card in iSpring Learn.



    In the same way, you can add and edit information about a division, department, group, email, user status (active or inactive), and other details about the employee.
