Method: ReenrollRequest

Use this method to reenroll a learner in a course and set the start date and due date. You can set a specific due date, specify a time period, allow unlimited time to complete the course, or use the course's default settings.

Permissions to Run the Request

Account Owner, Account Administrator, Department Administrator, Author, or a user with a custom role.

Department Administrators and users with custom roles can reenroll learners in courses only within the departments they manage and their subdepartments.

Request Parameters

Parameter	Type	Description
token (required)	string	Access token. You can obtain a token using the authorization request.
enrollmentId (required)	string	ID of the course enrollment to be renewed.
accessDate (required)	date	Course start date in `YYYY-MM-DD` format.
dueDateType (required)	string	How the course due date is set. Possible values: due_date — a specific date due_period — a time period unlimited — no due date default — the due date specified in the course settings
dueDate (optional)	date	Course due date in `YYYY-MM-DD` format. Used when dueDateType is set to due_date.
duePeriod (optional)	int	Time allowed to complete the course, in hours. Used when dueDateType is set to due_period.
lockAfterDueDate	boolean	Whether access to the course is locked after the due date. Possible values: `true` — access is locked; `false` — access remains available.

Existing customers may continue using ispringlearn.com, and new customers should use ispring.com.

To get an enrollment ID, use the Getting a List of Enrollments or Getting a List of Enrollments (Page-by-Page) method.
The enrollment ID changes after reenrollment. Make sure you're using the current enrollmentId before sending another request.

Return Values

success	boolean	Result of the request. A value of `true` indicates that the request was processed successfully.

Sample Request

Reenroll a learner in a course starting on October 13, 2026. Set the due date to October 30, 2026, and lock access to the course after the due date.
