You can easily manage your captions with a few simple steps. Here's how you can do it:

  • Edit the caption’s text: Click on the caption’s text and make your changes.



  • Change the caption’s duration: Drag the borders of the text block under the video or audio track.



    If you shorten the clip, captions will only be generated for the visible part of the selected clip.


  • Move captions: Drag the caption block to the desired position on the track.

  • Split captions: Select the caption and click on the Split option.



  • Remove captions: select the audio or video, then right-click and choose Remove, or simply press the Delete key.



  • Copy and paste captions: Select the audio or video, right-click and choose Copy, then Paste.

    Note that any changes made to the original caption will not affect its copy.




  • Export captions: Click on Export (.vtt) on the toolbar and choose where to save the captions. The exported file will have a .vtt extension.
