Task Monitor | A Task Monitor is responsible for providing employees with necessary resources and verifying task completion. If no task monitor is assigned, the employee can mark the task as completed.
This role is typically filled by a mentor, subject matter expert, or functional manager. |
Mentor | A Mentor is an experienced employee who helps a new hire integrate into the team and understand the workplace’s rules and standards. There is just one mentor for each employee and their development plan. |
Subject Matter Expert (SME) | A Subject Matter Expert can act as a Task Monitor, confirming task completion. This might be a colleague from another department or specialization, such as a system administrator or occupational safety specialist. |
Supervisor | A Supervisor is a user with the "Supervisor" role who oversees a new hire’s progress and can manage their onboarding plan.
Depending on role settings, the Supervisor may also assign plans and make final decisions. |
