Matching

Matching questions presuppose that learners need to match pairs of words or phrases. Matches can be made between concepts and definitions, authors and quotes, dates and events, etc.

How to create a matching question

1. Click on «+» и select Quiz.
   
   
   
2. Click on New Question.
   
   
   
3. Select Matching.
   
   
   
4. Paste the question text.
   
   
   
5. Add an image or a video to the question to make it more engaging.
   
   
   You can upload the file from your PC, add it as a link or embed code.
   
   

6. In the Correct Matches section, write the names for the matching items on the right and left. You can add any number of pairs.
   
   
   

   If you want to make the quiz question more difficult, you can add extra answers, or distractors, in the Additional Matches field. This way, the learner will have to think over each pair of answers and won't be able to answer the question using elimination.

   
   
   

7. Click Done.
